Travis Library

Mission Statement

The mission of the Travis Elementary School Library is to provide a welcoming space for all students and staff members to gain knowledge through inquiry and practice reading as a fundamental right.

Services 

Weekly library lessons: Each class, Kinder - 5th grades, visits the library each week for 30 minutes. This time block includes story time and response and student access to and selection from library collection. 

Open library hours: Library is open daily from 7:20 AM - 7:40 AM for students to access and select from the collection. 

Reading, research, and resource guidance for students and staff: Librarian provides ongoing support, both planned and on an as needed basis, for individuals, classes, and teachers.

Students, teachers, and the Travis community can use the school library automation system’s Accessit Library Web App to access the collection, view recently added items, and much more!
